Janet’s Obituary Janet Elise Flatt Anderson, 86, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at her residence. She was born on April 7, 1932, in Trimble, TN, to the late Lofton Aubrey Flatt and the late Ruby Pearl Boane Flatt. Janet attended Cornerstone Church of God, was a Sunday School Teacher and an avid Christian, whose spiritual birth was on February 16, 1947 and she received the Holy Ghost on May 5, 1949.

She was a graduate of Dyersburg High School Class of 1950. Earlier in her life, she was a manager of K.W. Rogers Depot Grocery. In 1974 until the present time she was an LPN, where she worked for 29 years for Dr. W.I. Thornton.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Ottis Hart officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home. Survivors include her three sons, Daniel Neil Anderson of Nashville, Jonathan Steel Anderson (Debbie Butterick) of Memphis and Joseph Aubrey Anderson and wife, Jenni Lou, of Nashville; a daughter, Mary Deborah Anderson Baumgardner and husband, Kent, of Newbern; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn O’Neil Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Tim Epperson, David Epperson, Aaron Moody, Tony McNeely, Jeffrey Day and Jeremy Arrington.
