Obituary for Janet Elizabeth Roe Memorial service for Janet Elizabeth Roe will be held 7:00 p.m Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Inola Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor T.J. Helling will officiate. Janet passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the age of 54.

The daughter of Newt and Eddene Thompson was born October 16th, 1964in Vinita, Oklahoma. She was raised in Broken Arrow, where she graduated high school in 1982. Shortly after graduation she met Timothy Neal while at the 20th Century Dance Club.

They began dating and were married on May 6, 1983. The newly wed couple made their home in Broken Arrow and a few other places before moving to Inola in 2004. She then began working as a Seamstress for the Finish Line of Oklahoma, in Tiawah.

There, she was responsible for making clothing for horse jockeys and horses. In her spare time Janet enjoyed horses, raising goats, and watching the Oklahoma sunrises. She was also an advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Her favorite things were the times she shared with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Newt Thompson. Survivors include her mother, Eddene Thompson; husband, Timothy Roe; children, T.J. Roe and Shelby Roe and husband to be, Jade Stout; Siblings, John Thompson, David Thompson and wife Kathleen, Debra Thompson and husband Bobby.
