Born to Edward and Julia Mahon in Paterson, NJ, she had lived in Lyndhurst before moving to Franklin, NJ in 1997. Janet was a registered nurse by trade and dedicated most of her life to be a doting wife, mother and grandmother.
She loved her grandchildren dearly and always looked forward to spending time with them. Janet is predeceased by her husband, Charles Kinsley, a daughter, Carol Durantino and 2 brothers, Edward and John Mahon and was the devoted mother of Marie Gervasio and her husband, Sal of Haledon, NJ, Christine Mara and her husband, Bob of Stockholm, NJ and Julie Jahnke and her husband, Tom of Stockholm, NJ. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Connor, Megan and Bobby.
The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 4-8 PM. Funeral from the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Franklin, NJ at 9:30 AM.
