Janet (Jan) Pauline Applebee (nee Wagner), 71, of Cudahy, WI passed away in Mesa, Az on April 22, 2018 after a short battle from complications of Lupus. Jan leaves behind her loving husband of 50 years, Ronald; her children Kim (Lawrence) Popp, Brandon (Renee) and Michelle (Mark Roberts); adoring grandchildren, Cheyenne (Alex), Sierra, Aaron, Mackenzie, Allison, Emma and Alexandra; brother Kenneth (Diane) Wagner and sister-in-law, Donna Hanson. She also is survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jan is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dorothy Wagner. Jan was born March 8, 1947 in South Milwaukee, WI. In early childhood she moved to Cudahy , where she was a life long resident, having recently spent winter’s in Mesa, AZ.

She was an avid bowler, softball and volleyball player. A lover of animals, particularly dogs, Jan adopted six dogs during her adult life, three being ex-racing greyhounds. She enjoyed meeting with friends to play cards, going to restaurants and being the co-pilot on motorcycle adventures as a member of The Gold Wing Road Riders Association with her husband.

Later in life Jan had been bit by the traveling bug, partaking on trips with friends and family, particularly cruises. A celebration of Jan’s life will be held June 9th, 2018. Committal service at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery – Cudahy, begins at 10:30 A.M. followed by a reception.
