Obituary for Janette Ball (Crocker) A wife, mother, daughter and sister went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2018 at the age of 76 following years of coping with Alzheimer’s. She died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. She was born on June 20th, 1942 in Trezevant, TN and soon moved to Springdale, OH where she was raised.

Janette was in the first graduating class at Princeton High School in 1960 where she was a cheerleader and Homecoming Queen. She soon married Charles D. Ball, her husband of 56 years, and had two children, Shawn and Mark. Janette was a beautiful, intelligent, outgoing and funny lady who loved her family very much.

Janette spent 25 years as a military wife moving frequently around the United States before settling in Phoenix in 1986 following her husband’s retirement from the U.S. Army. She retired in Phoenix in 2006 after many years in the banking industry. Janette was blessed to have Rhonda, a guardian angel and loving friend, enter her life to help her cope with her disease with grace and dignity.

Special thanks also to Hospice of the West for the loving in home care she received her final month. Her beautiful smile and warm heart will be sadly missed by her husband Charles, and sons Shawn (Dawn) and Mark, grandchildren Nickolas, Alec and Nathan and brother Dan (Jenny). She is preceded in death by parents Kelso and Maurine Crocker and her brother Harlan (Carol) Essary.

A celebration of Janette’s life will be held on 17 September at 9am at the Arizona National Cemetery.
