Obituary of Janey Snyder Banner Janey Elizabeth Snyder Banner, went to heaven on Wings of Angels on June 12, 2018. Janey was born July 17, 1940 in Macks Creek, Missouri to Roy E. and Ruby M. (Hart) Snyder. On November 21, 1958 she married Robert Wayne Banner and to this union 4 children were born; Roberta Jean Banner Rooffener, Timothy Lynn Banner, Thomas Lee Banner, & Doris Mae Banner.

Janey was raised in the Macks Creek area and worked several years as a bartender at some of the local establishments. Later in years she worked for Tan-Tar-A, as the Employee’s Cafeteria Supervisor Chef. Janey retired from Tan-Tar-A in 1992 after 18 years of service due to her health.

Janey used to go to Dogwood Thrift store and help cut buttons off of donated clothing out of date for many years and made many friends while she volunteered her time there. Back in the day she used to make homemade wine for her friends, and many of them hung the name “WineMaker” on her and it stuck with her over the years. She was always an outspoken person and never knew a stranger.

If she was your friend, she was your friend for life. no ifs, or ands about it. Janey was preceded in death by her parents, Roy & Ruby Snyder; her brothers, Lloyd, Gene & Ralph Snyder; her son, Timothy Lynn Banner; her daughter, Doris Mae Banner; and her children’s father, Robert W. Banner.

She leaves to mourn her passing, daughter, Roberta Banner Rooffener, Macks Creek Missouri; son, Thomas Banner (Jackie) Macks Creek Missouri; daughter-in-law, Brenda Banner, Macks Creek, Missouri; brother, Jame V. Snyder, Macks Creek, Missouri; sister-in-law, Connie L. Snyder, Macks Creek, Missouri; grandchildren, Melissa D. Brumley (Jason), Sarah J. Lampe(Larry), Rebecca J. Crossland (Cleve), Clayton L. Banner (Chas) Clinton L. Banner (Brittany), Casey L. Banner (Kristyn) Kristy L. Banner, Kimberly R. Banner; great-grandchildren, Madison E. Carter, Vanessa M. Sousley, Priscilla J. Sousley, Brooklynn Banner,. Colby Banner, Bailey Banner, Trinty Banner, Talynn Banner, Katelynn J. Carter, Chace, L. Carter, Dalton E. L. Carter, Jeramiah Tabor, Jesse J. Banner, Zoe Flieger, Destiny Dickelman, Trynity Dickelman, Jaden Carter, John Carter, Hayley Lampe, Dakota Brumley, Ashlee Brumley and One great-granddaughter on the way; nieces & nephews: Kathy Snyder, James D. Ollison, Tonua Sluss; many, many great nieces and nephews and a host of friends. We Celebrate the Life Of Janey and all of her accomplishments.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family. Thank you to Osage Beach Health Care and Hospice Compassus for our mothers wonderful care. Services will be held Sunday, June 17, 2018, at 2:00 pm at her son’s home in Macks Creek, Missouri.
