Obituary for Janice A Parsell Janice A. Parsell age 76 of Forest, died at Birchaven Village on Friday August 31, 2018 at 10:50pm. She was born December 8, 1941 in Dayton, OH to David W. & Vede M. (Munger) Kinnear. They preceded her in death.
She married E. Eugene Parsell on December 31, 1960 and he preceded her in death on August 27, 2016. Mrs. Parsell is survived by a daughter Cynthia (Russ) Girdler of Mt. Blanchard, four sons Doug (Teresa) Parsell of Arlington, Bruce (Tracy) Parsell of Forest, Duane (Katrina) Parsell of Carey, Brian (Michelle) Parsell of Bellefontaine, 24 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brothers David Kinnear, Gary (Julie) Kinnear, sisters Marja (Dennis) English and Norma Brown.
Janice graduated from Forest High School class of 1960. She was a homemaker and retired from Kroger as a cashier. Mrs. Parsell was a 4-H adviser, President of the Riverdale Music Boosters, former Forest PTA member.
Janice was a member of the Forest Ohio Child Conservation League Mothers Club Tiny Tots, Forest Stitch and Stir, Wyandot Peacemakers Quilt Guild. She was a member of York St. Christian Union now Heritage Christian Union and attended and active at the Abundant Life Assemble of God, Kenton. A funeral service will be held Thursday Sept.
6, 2018 at 10:30am in Clark Shields Funeral Home with Rev. Rex Roth officiating. Burial will follow in York St. Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday Sept. 5, 2018 from 3pm-5pm and 6pm-8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Forest Jackson Public Library or Bridge Hospice Care Center in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S. Patterson St. Forest, OH 45843.
