Janice Lanier Strauss, age 90, of Lakeland, FL passed away on September 29, 2018. A native of Knights Station, Florida. She was preceded in death by her two husbands Grady Hutto and Hollis Strauss.

Janice is survived by her beloved family: daughters, Rhonda Dyer (Bill) of Lakeland, Florida: Jenny Allen (Ben) of Lakeland, Florida: Jan Bush (Clint) of Richmond, Kentucky: Renee Orand (Chester) of Port St. Joe, Florida: Melody Leasure (John) of St. Petersburg, Florida: Marth Wilk (Dave) of Lakeland, Florida. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and sisters, Neoma Houghton, Betty Jo Lang and Velma Glaros (Manuel). Janice worked as a manager at the H.C.C bookstore and retired in 1993.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 10:00 am till 11:00 am at Haught Funeral Home 708 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. W Plant City. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am.

Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery, Plant City. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Janice Strauss to Florida Baptist Children’s Home or Compassionate Care Hospice. On line condolences can be left at Haught.
