Janice’s Obituary Janice, better known as Jo to her friends and family, was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, December 8, 1954. Janice finally succumbed to her complex medical conditions, and passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones January 20, 2019. Janice is preceded in death by her mother Maoma Tallant Ownbey, her father Fletcher Rolston Ownbey, and her husband Teddy Randall Thompson.

She proudly gave over 30 years to the Commercial Insurance Community, and touched countless lives during that time. Janice was a devoted Wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family fiercely. Janice is survived by her son Daniel Thompson and Wife Nicole; daughter Holly Latham and her husband Robert; and grandchildren Ryan Wolkow and Kinsley Latham whom they lovingly referred to as “Geeme”, Dale Jr., and Ethan Jacob.

Janice is also survived by her sister Marsha Calloway-Ownbey, Brother Brad Ownbey, Mother-in-law Vanta Sister, Lisa, Sister Christy and husband Rick, Sister Karen and husband Todd, a Treasured Aunt Shirley, as well as many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at The Fountains at 1650Alluvial Ave. , Clovis, Ca 93611 with a reception to follow, February 9, 2019 at 2pm.
