Obituary for Janice Fay Brietzke (Rusch) Janice Fay Brietzke, age 74, of La Vernia, passed away at her home with her family by her side Saturday, January 12, 2019. She was born February 20, 1944 in San Antonio to Ottmar and Marguerite M. (Pierdolla) Rusch, whom precede her in death. Throughout her career, Janice Fay enjoyed working with the youth as a school treasurer, cafeteria manager and lastly, as a substitute teacher.

Janice Fay is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roger W. Brietzke; daughter, Shelley Lynn Holmes and husband James; son, Darren W. Brietzke and wife Sarah; granddaughter, Isabella Grace Brietzke; sister, Margie Rusch; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and many friends. A visitation will take place from 5pm to 8pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia. FUNERAL SERVICE Thursday, January 17, 2019 10am Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia Pastor Bill Lindeman of Laurel Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church, San Antonio, will officiate at the service.
