Janice was born December 8, 1939 in Fillmore. She was the daughter of the late Parl L. and Ione J. Cress.

Janice worked for the Olin Corporation retiring after 20 years. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Linda Cole of Wood River, six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Murl Dean Cress of Wood River and Bobby L. Hanabarger of Ramsey.
