OBITUARY Janice Kay Stine August 27, 1944 – July 23, 2018 Janice Gathercole Stine, age 73, of Pataskala, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018. She was born in Euclid, Ohio on August 27, 1944 to the late Herbert J. and Dorothy (Rice) Gathercole. She graduated from Euclid High School and The Ohio State University.

Janice was a member of Utica United Methodist Church and Job’s Daughters-Bethel No. 17 in Euclid, Ohio. Janice was a lifelong public servant including an educator, President of Alpine, CA Chamber of Commerce, Director of Marietta Chapter of American Cancer Society, and Director of Tobacco Risk Reduction Program at the Ohio Department of Health from which she retired in 2010.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Stine Sr., of Pataskala, son Thomas Stine Jr., of Balcklick, OH, daughter Joanna (Doug) Baldwin of Waterford, OH, and granddaughters Emma, Claire, and Maggie Baldwin. Along with her parents, Janice is preceded in death by her half-sisters Margaret (Peggy) Cole and Patricia Frazier. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home with a Memorial Service following at the funeral home at 12:00 pm with Pastor Michael Stine and Pastor Wilma Harris officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. An online memorial can be viewed at www. kauberfraley.com.
