Janice Sue Bowden, age 81, went to be with the Lord on April 24th, 2018. Janice was born December 15, 1936 to Arthel and Carrie Bowden in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was the 11th of 13 children.

She grew up in Lenexa, Kansas. On December 23, 1954, she married Lloyd Seacreas and they lived in Kansas City, Kansas. Their marriage was blessed with four children: Lloyd Seacreas (Carol), Richard Seacreas (Debbie), Clay Seacreas (Trudy), Tammy Seacreas (Bruce Ryberg).

They were married 54 years, until Lloyd’s death in 2009. Janice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd and daughter Tammy; sisters and brother: Hazel Hedges, Ilene Paul, Lorene Brown, Ida Sayler, Oma Clark, Robert Bowden, Virginia Erb, Mary Eastland, Nora Collier and Linda Goold. Survivors include her brother, Clay Bowden and sister, Leona Garlett; sons, Lloyd Seacreas, Richard Seacreas and Clay Seacreas; 8 grandchildren: Joshua, Jennifer, Tia, Alyssia, Chris, Chad, Melissa and Adam; three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS. Funeral service will be at 10 AM on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Johnson County Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
