Janice Castor Moser, 66, of Rockwell, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at Atrium Northeast Hospital in Concord, NC. She was born January 6, 1953 to Clarence Alexander and Phyllis Rodgers Castor. She was a 1971 graduate of South Rowan High School, attended Central Piedmont Community College and Western Carolina University.

Jan spent most of her career working in the audio visual production industry in Atlanta. She also loved photography and jewelry design. Life with Jan was never dull – she was the life of the party, the prankster of the family, and loved being in the middle of everything.

Jan was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her son, Lee Moser of Boston, MA; mother, Phyllis, of the home; brother, Bryan (Christy) Castor of Columbia, SC; sister, Traci (Keith) Anderson of Rockwell, NC. The family will greet friends and relatives on Friday, February 8, 2019, 2:00pm – 3:00pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, February 8, 2019, in the Powles Staton Funeral Home Chapel, Rockwell, NC. Memorials may be made to Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary; 220 Grace Church Road, Salisbury NC 28147, 704-633-1722.
