Janis H. Lindstrom, 64, of Loves Park passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018. Born August 24, 1954 in Rockford to Homer and Mary Colvin. Employed for over 30 years by Camcar.

Janis was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan, loved music, socializing with friends and most of all camping at Lake Wisconsin. She loved animals and her country; she was proud to be an American. Survivors include brother, Michael Colvin of Santa Maria, CA; nephews, Brandon and Justin Lindstrom; and several special friends.

Predeceased by parents; and brother, Jon. Celebration of life will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 in Rocky’s Bar and Grill, 5314 N. 2nd Street, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, please bring a bag of dog food, cat food, or treats to donate to Noah’s Ark in Janis’s name.
