Janis “Janny” Weiss October 13, 1945 – January 30, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Upload Photo| View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Janis “Janny” (Morantz) Weiss, 72, of White Oak, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019. She was born October 13, 1946, in McKeesport, and was the beloved daughter of the late William “Billy” Morantz and Sadie (Lebowitz) Morantz. She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Weinblum of White Oak; nieces, Amy Weinblum, of Santa Monica, California, and Danielle (Weinblum) Reilly, of Irwin; and numerous loving cousins and friends.

Janny was a former employee of her family business and was adored by her customers at Green Valley Cleaners. She was a former member of the Tree of Life Sfard Congregation and its Sisterhood. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am.

on Sunday, February 3 at Elrod/Tree of Life Sfard Cemetery, with Rabbi Paul Tuchman officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak. (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director.
