Obituary for Jason C. Martin Jason C. Martin Age 35, of Export, formerly of Freeport, died unexpectedly on April 10, 2018. Jason was the loving son of Sandra and the late James Byron Martin; brother of James Brian Martin of Cleburne, TX and Adam J. Martin of Acworth, GA; he was the uncle of Waylon Martin, Mallory Hill, Dawson McGee and Alayna Martin. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends.

Jason graduated Franklin Regional High School in June of 2000 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps just a month later. Jason served one year in Japan and finished his enlistment in Washington D.C. at the USMC Headquarters (Henderson Hall). Jason always viewed becoming a Marine as his greatest achievement in life.

His love for the Corps and fellow Marines was never dulled or tarnished and even in death, it endures eternal. A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 3pm until the time of a service at 5 pm at the Thomas M. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory Ltd., 930 Center Ave. Pgh.
