OBITUARY Jason “Scoot” Michael Rakes June 2, 1980 – July 13, 2018 Jason Michael “Scoot” Rakes, 38 of Stafford passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at his residence. He worked for DTN Construction. He is survived by his wife, Dale Jones; three daughters, Summer, Hanna, and Taylor Rakes; grandson, Nolan; parents, Hank and Wanda Rakes; sister, Georgieanna Juanita Rakes; brother, Hank “Kat” Rakes, Jr.; six step children, Christine DeAndrade, Michael, Melissa, Thomas, Clark, and Kayla Jones; seven step grandchildren, Justin, Aiden, Lilly, Aidan, Howie, Christian, and Maddox ; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg at 4:00 pm, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will be at a later date. Memorials may be made in his name to the funeral home.
