Jasper’s Obituary Jasper Pleze McIntosh Jr., 65, passed away at 6:10 AM on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at his home in Loogootee, IN. Born September 26, 1953 in Winchester, KY, he was the son of the late Jasper Pleze McIntosh Sr. and Hallie Mae (Rison) McIntosh. He lived at the family homeplace in Underwood since he was 12 years old until recently when he moved to Loogootee to be close to his sisters.

Jr. was a 1975 Henryville High School graduate and retired in 2013 from Sellersburg Stone Co.. Jr enjoyed being around kids, working puzzles, seek and find, watching westerns, reading the bible, studying his weekly Sunday School lesson, fishing, and scrapping. He attended Hindostan United Methodist Church in Shoals and Shoals Nazarene Church with his sisters.

Survivors include his 3 sisters and their spouses, Clara Ann (Bill) Haulk of Shoals, IN, Sheila (Gary) Smith of Loogootee, IN, Lorella (Steve) Petit of Loogootee, IN, and sister-in-law, Tina McIntosh of Underwood, IN. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Greg McIntosh and brother-in-law, Ronald Smith. Pastor Leon Armstrong will conduct graveside services at Noon on Monday, May 27, 2019 at New Chapel (Clarks Chapel) Cemetery.

All friends and family are welcome to attend. Memorial donations may be given to the New Chapel Cemetery c/o the funeral home. Cremation services are entrusted to Adams Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 209 S. Ferguson St., Henryville, IN 47126.
