Jayhue was born on July 12, 1956 in Marion, VA. Jayhue served in the United States Army and National Guard. Jayhue had a long career spanning 32 years as a Service Manager, Trainer and Technician with Kinsley Power Systems.

A special thanks to Ken Kinsley and son David Kinsley for the opportunity to let our father affect so many people’s lives in a career that he loved. Jayhue often could be found singing the song “Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd while tending to a bonfire among family and friends. Jayhue had a positive impact on countless people’s lives.

Our father had a way of communicating that made you feel his warmth and the quality of his soul. A devout fisherman and outdoorsman his love for nature was demonstrated through many camping trips with his sons. He loved nothing more than being surrounded by family and friends, reminiscing about old times and telling stories of life lessons.

He often was quoted saying “It’s not the things we have that define us, but the people and relationships that surround us”. Jayhue was selfless, and would always be there in your time of need with a smile and his love. His heart was pure; his mind was strong; he lived a life to be emulated and remembered.

Jayhue’s family and friends would like to thank the great staff of Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center – Torrington, The Healing Corner (cannabis distribution center) as well as Foothills Visiting Nurse & Home Care Hospice. They have helped Jayhue with his mind, body and soul giving the valuable gift of time. A “Celebration of Life” gathering will be held at a later date to be announced.
