Jean A. Kane, (nee Kane), 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, NJ. The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Kearny at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Visitation will begin on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. Mrs. Kane was born in Jersey City, NJ and lived in Kearny her entire life.

She is survived by her children, Glenn Kane, Susan Zive and her husband, Mark, Edward Kane and Kenneth Kane and his wife, Gail. Jean is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was the aunt of Dennis Murphy and mother-in-law of Dawn Kane.
