Jean Celia Morgan, age 94, of Roosevelt, formally of Gillette, Wyoming, returned to her Heavenly Father on December 17, 2018 at Uintah Basin Medical Center. She was born on February 17, 1924 in Stillwater, Minnesota to Gerey William and Harriet Mabel Holen Halberg. She was the oldest of 4 children.

She married James Andrew Morgan on May 31, 1945 in Gillette, Wyoming. They were blessed with 9 children, 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother, her husband Jim, son Gerey, daughters Kathie and Debra.

She is survived by her children, Jim Morgan, Jr. of Gillette, Wyoming; Barb (Dave) Irsik, of Ft. Lupton, Colorado; David Morgan of Gillette, Wyoming; Trish (Tim) McDonald, of Roosevelt, Utah; Shirley (Scott) Newson, of Gillette, Wyoming; and Bill (Angela) Morgan of Pine Haven, Wyoming. Services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Gillette Memorial Chapel at 210 West 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming with viewing at 10:00 am , service at 11:00 am.

Burial to be at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, in Gillette. Luncheon to follow at the Cemetery Pavilion.
