Jean’s Obituary Jean M. Cooper, of Northville, passed away Monday evening, February 4, 2019 at age 91. She was born May 18, 1927, in Northville, Michigan, the daughter of Daniel and Marie Hoffman. Beloved was the loving wife of the late Victor W. Cooper; loving mother of Grant McClay Cooper (deceased), Vicki Cooper, Valerie (Tom) Smart and Brian (Brenda) Cooper; grandmother of seven; great grandmother of eight.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Gerhardt “Gerry”, Daniel “Bud”, and Elwood “Woody”. Jean was a previous resident of Fox Run in Novi, where she enjoyed line dancing and many other activities as an active senior. For many years, she was a volunteer at the Red Cross and a tax preparer for low income seniors.

The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Saturday, February 9th from 2-4 pm, with her Funeral Service at 4:00 pm. Private interment will take place on Monday, at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Life Challenge of Southeast Michigan.
