Jean Louise Langenheder Price was born on September 13, 1943 in Grand Island, NE. and passed away at the age of 75 on March 25, 2019 after a valiant fight with cancer. Jean graduated from Hastings College with a B.A. in Art in 1965.

She then attended graduate school at Fort Hays State College in Kansas receiving her Masters in Sculpture. Jean taught art in Kansas, Oregon, and Montana for 35 years. After which she taught at the University of Great Falls for several years.
