Hartselle Funeral service for Jean “Momma Jean” Briscoe, 66, will be Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glen Smallwood and Bro. Dewain Clemons officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mrs. Briscoe died on Thursday, November 30, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

She was born October 25, 1952, in Morgan County to Horace Lee Kirkpatrick and Mary Elizabeth Slate. She was employed with the Hartselle City School System as a Bus Driver. She was affectionately known as “Momma Jean” to those who knew and loved her.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a daughter: Melissa Ann Briscoe. Survivors include: Husband: William “Buddy” Briscoe One Son: Brandon Briscoe (Wendy) One Daughter: Robin Roy (Bobby) Three Brothers: Donald Kirkpatrick (Janice), Frankie Kirkpatrick (Joyce) and Larry Kirkpatrick (Donna) Two Sisters: Corny Kirkpatrick and Donna Turcotte Four Grandchildren: Anthony Briscoe, Brayden Briscoe, Tylor Roy (Brittany) and Kimberly Roy Two Great Grandchildren: Zayden Roy and Jaxon Roy Pallbearers will be Walter Oakes, Jason Philyaw, Donald Kirkpatrick, Joe Blankenship, Jonathan Naylor, Billy Briscoe. and Daniel Kirkpatrick Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Kirkpatrick and Daniel Kirkpatrick.
