Obituary for Jeanette (Doucette) Ginter Jeanette (Doucette) Ginter, 87, of New Britain, widow of Robert E.A. Ginter, passed away Sunday (November 25, 2018) at Hartford Hospital. A native and lifelong New Britain resident, Jeanette is a graduate of New Britain High School, Class of 1948, and was employed by Bradlees Department Store in New Britain and Newington for 26 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of St. Mary Church in New Britain and was involved in numerous church activities.

Surviving are two daughters, Dale Conlan and her husband Greg of Plantsville; and Donna Balkow and her husband Robert of Plainville; two brothers, Charles Doucette of Kensington and Norman Doucette of New York; two grandchildren, Melissa and Scott Balkow; three step grandchildren, Sean Conlan and his wife Erin; Marie Hurd and her husband Mike; and Kelly Autunno and her husband John; and 6 step great grandchildren. She leaves behind several very special nieces and nephews and also her beloved grand dogs and cats. Funeral services are Friday 11 AM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. Calling hours are Thursday evening 5 to 7 PM at Carlson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492 or to the American Diabetes Association, 2275 Silas Dean Highway, 1st Floor N-Unit 9, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
