Satmary (nee: Miller), 77 years of age, and a resident of Avon Lake, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Main Street Care Center Nursing Home in Avon Lake, following a brief illness. She was born September 14, 1941 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Jeanette had lived in Sheffield Lake before moving to Avon Lake where she had made her home for the last eight years.

She attended the Church of the Open Door in Avon Lake. Jeanette was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.

Survivors include her son Daniel Betzel (Elizabeth) of Gahanna; her daughters Toni Heller (Al) and Ann Betzel both of Avon Lake; her grandchildren Anna Betzel, Kye Betzel, Emma Heller and Abigail Heller; her brother Arthur Miller (Shelley) of Amherst and her sister Sylvia Bishop (Bill) of North Port, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-nine years Robert Satmary on June 26, 2010 her son David Blake Betzel in 1990; her daughter Kristina Betzel in 1975; and her parents Blake and Charlotte Miller (nee: Nelson). Graveside services will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Ridge Hill Memorial Park; 44805 North Ridge Road, Amherst.
