Jeanette Schmall March 02, 1932 – January 24, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book Age 86 of St. Paul, passed away at home on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Jeanette was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, the College of St. Benedict, and Christ Hospital (Cincinnati, Ohio) Dietetic Internship Program. Her life was centered around family, friends, and faith.

She had a creative spirit and excelled at music, writing, and the arts. Jeanette was actively involved with and supported a variety of organizations. She lived and breathed St. Ben’s – Jeanette contributed to her alma mater in numerous ways her entire life, serving on the College of St. Benedict Alumnae Board for six years and participating as an active member of the St. Paul Chapter.

She was a lifetime member of the International Graphoanalysis Society. She also spent many years serving the Church of the Holy Childhood in various capacities, from singing in the Schola Cantorum to passionately promoting the liturgical music program through local news outlets to creating a scholarship program for Schola students attending the parish school. Survived by her husband, Bob; children Stephen, Jamesine “Jami”, Joe (Patti), and John (Bozena); grandchildren Emily, Skip, Kendra, Andy, Brandon, and Kyle; great-grandchildren Nathalia and Rylee; and many other family members and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 4 at Church of the Holy Childhood (1435 Midway Parkway, St. Paul). Visitation at 10am, Mass at 11am, with luncheon to follow. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
