Jeanne “Kookie” Sterner Moon, 76, of 746 Grandview Rd. Oil City, PA. , passed away at 4:10 P.M. Friday Sept.

28, 2018 at Oil City Healthcare and Rehab after an extended illness. Born May 24, 1942 in Oil City, PA. , she was the daughter of the late George & Lois I. Roddy Sterner.

“Kookie” was a graduate of Oil City High School. She had worked many years for the law firm of McAlevy & Welch and later as a secretary for the L.O. Bouquin Company. She was of the Protestant Faith.

Jeanne enjoyed watching NASCAR and Football. She is survived by her significant other Kenneth Moon and her children Kevin Moon & his wife Brenda of Clarion Kurt Moon of Naperville, IL Kelly Moon of Oil City Vickie Winger of Oil City a grandson Amos a sister Pam Detar & her husband Harry and a brother George Sterner & his wife Cinda of Franklin Several nieces and nephews also survive Their will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be made to Asera Care Hospice 12664 Route 19 S Waterford, PA.
