Obituary for Jeannette Dry Jeannette Marie Dry-Roberts, age 85, of Joplin, Mo. , passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Oak Pointe in Carthage, Mo. , following an illness.

Jeannette was born on October 6, 1932 in Bartlesville, Ok. , the daughter of Ernest and Clyde (Clifford) Sparks. She worked as a secretary at Eagle Picher in Joplin, Mo.

Jeannette was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, as well as a “Pink Lady” at Mercy Hospital. Jeannette married Claude “Gig” Dry on October 8, 1950 in Commerce, Ok. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2000.

She then married Warren Roberts on March 12, 2006, he survives. Additional survivors include her daughters, Kim Jones and husband Michael, Carl Junction, Mo. , and Dana Keeling and husband Mark, Springfield, Mo.

; five grandchildren, Adam Jones and wife Grace, Amy DeArmond and husband Eldon, Dea Mason and husband Dylan, Sabrina Keeling, and Timothy Keeling; and three great-grandchildren, Andrew Jones, Chastity Flemings, and Juston Flemings. She was preceded in death by her son, Tim Dry, on February 15, 1995. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Mason-Woodard Chapel.

Reverend Jack Jones will be officiating. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the service begins. Entombment will be at Ozark Memorial Park Mausoleum in Joplin.

The family has requested memorial contributions be made to The Alzheimer’s Association in care of the Mortuary. Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
