A memorial service will begin a 5 PM. Jeffrey A. Boardman, 61, of Kingston died suddenly Wednesday March 20, 2019 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus.

Born December 19, 1957 in Albany he is the son of Douglas Boardman Sr. and the late Sandra (Somers) Boardman. Jeffrey graduated from New York University with a master’s degree in occupational therapy. He was employed as an occupational therapist at the Brookside School in Cottekill.

In addition to his father, Jeffrey is survived by his husband, Joseph Perry; siblings, Douglas Boardman Jr. and his wife Jacqui Gale, Pamela Burkhardt and her husband Willie, Randy Boardman and his wife Sharon, Stephanie Richardson and her husband Peter; brothers and sisters in law, Lisa Perry, Mark Perry and Kim Caunitz; his nieces and nephews, Erica Perry and her fiancé Maine Hines, Elisha Perry and her fiancé Danny Dunham, Katie Perry, Brittany Perry and her fiancé Chris Simpson, Dylan Perry, Jaidyn Perry, Susan Perry, Gianna Perry, Jazzlyn Perry, Carter Perry, Daniel Dunham, Evelyn Boardman and Ryan Sleeper, Caleb Boardman, Cole and Maggie Burkhardt,; his aunt, Linda Bongiolati and her children, Jill and Scott Murray, Amy Bongiolatti; his goddaughter, Lilliana Simpson and his oldest and dearest friend, Dawn Christensen. His nephew, Lucas Richardson and mother in law, Rose Perry and his sister in law Susan Perry all died previously. Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers may be made in the form of contributions to The ARC of Ulster/Green 471 Albany Avenue Kingston, New York 12401 or the Brookside School OT and PT Departments, 11 Tanhouse Brook Road, Cottekill, New York 12419.
