Fowler I; older brother, John H. Fowler II and wife Kelli, younger sister, Jamie M. Fowler and husband Mike Mitchem; one nephew, Chase Fowler, and two nieces, Cassidy Fowler and Peyton Mitchem and many aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Homer and Virginia Bomgardner, and Bessie Fowler. Jeff was born in Fort Myers and was a lifelong resident. He received his college degree in finance from FGCU and graduated high school from Riverdale in 1995 where he later worked as a beloved teacher and favorite assistant coach in both football and softball.

Jeff was most recently a supervisor with Pinnacle Pools USA, Inc. where his gifts for problem solving and working closely with the public were put to good use daily. “He never met a stranger “I’m not sure where this phrase originally came from, but it was never truer than when describing Jeff. His humor and never ending positivity will be missed by anyone who’s ever had the chance to meet him.

He was a sweet soul, but he also had a quick wit and was always up for a joke, he most definitely mastered the art of sarcasm. Even when you were the victim of one of his pranks, It was impossible to stay mad at him. His infectious laugh and bright smile always let you know it was all in good fun.

Jeff loved his family, all sports and spending time with close friends. Jeff was a die-hard fan of Florida Gators football & also the occasional four letter word, usually combining both at the same time depending on the score of the game. The family will accept visitors on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 from 10:00 a.m until 12:00 p.m at Gallaher Funeral Home at 2701 Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers, Florida 33901.
