Obituary for Jennie I. Reyan A heart of gold stopped beating, two willing hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best…. Jennie I. Reyan, 72, of Warren Center, Pa passed away on September 12, 2018 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pa following a courageous battle with Breast Cancer. Jennie was born on November 29, 1945 in Meshoppen, Pa one of nine children to Warren A. and Laura R. (Stark) Dunlap.

She was a graduate of North Pocono High School and on September 5, 1964 she married Robert S. Reyan. For over twenty-seven years, Jennie was employed by the Northeast Bradford School District, retiring as the high school Cafeteria Manager. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother and caring grandmother.

Her greatest pleasure was to give whatever she had to others. Jennie lived her life with grace, dignity and courage. She treasured her family and always looked forward to being surrounded by them.

Jennie enjoyed spending time in her gardens, cooking, baking, quilting, traveling and spending time making memories with friends. Jennie will be greatly missed by her husband of 54 years, Robert “Bob” Reyan; her daughter: Stacy Reyan of Alexandria, VA; a son and daughter-in-law: Robert J. and Holly Reyan of Friendsville, Pa; her very special grandsons: Tanner and Rierdan; her sisters: Anna Rodgers, Irene Schlett, Joann Acosta, and Pauline Reed; several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Jennie was predeceased by her parents; and her sisters: Marion Dunlap, Mae “Bonnie” Richards, Agnes “Aggie” Dunlap; and brother, Warren Dunlap.

Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation and time of sharing memories with some of Jennie’s favorite treats on Sunday, September 16th from 1 to 3 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A memorial service will follow at 3 pm with Pastor Larry D. Jennings, officiating. Memories, condolences and your favorite pictures may be shared by visiting her guestbook at www.
