OBITUARY Jeremy Alan Dee Herman April 27, 1977 – July 8, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Jeremy Alan Dee Herman “Herm” Born April 27th, 1977 went to be with our Lord July 8th, 2018. Born in Fresno and raised in Clovis, Herm was truly not a stranger to anyone. He went to Jefferson Elementary, Clark Intermediate, and will forever be a Clovis High Cougar, Class of 1995.
After playing golf at Reedley College, Herm went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree from Chico State where he again was a member of the golf team. Herm became a police officer for Atascadero Police Department, and served almost 3 years before moving to Huntington Beach. He found his niche as a professional golf caddy and worked at Pelican Hill for nearly 10 years.
He married the love of his life, and best friend since childhood, Jesa, in 2011. They moved back to Clovis in 2015 where Herm became a substitute teacher, golf coach at Clovis North and wrestling coach at Red Bank Elementary. He loved his athletes and was a great mentor to them.
His true love in life was always his wife, family, and friends. Herm was a friend for life to many and a very proud Uncle to his nieces and nephews. Herm loved to spend time golfing, hunting, and fishing.
His infectious humor, and smile will always be remembered, the size of his heart will never be forgotten. May he rest in the loving arms of our Lord who he knew and praised. Herm is survived by his wife Jesa Herman and their beloved dog Bailey, his parents, Steve and Denise Herman, his brother Brian Herman and sister in law Amber Herman.
Herm’s nieces and nephews are Avery, Reagan, Noah, Mara, Joel Jr, Faith, and Jase. His Mother in law is Becky Tuttle and her husband Lon Wetter, Brother in law Travis Thornton, Sister in law Tera Fry and her husband Joel and sister in law Amanda Dennis and her husband Craig. Herm had many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and was preceded in death by his Grandparents.
A Visitation for Jeremy will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612. A Celebration of Life will occur Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at The Well Community Church, 4545 N. Palm Avenue, Fresno, California.
