Jeremy’s Obituary Jeremy John (Kitch) Kitscher, age 40 of Belton, Missouri, arrived at the pearly gates of heaven on Saturday, April 20, 2019, with his most cherished fishing pole, favorite duck call, and ball glove, in hand. After hugging and visiting with his great grandparents-Ivan and Ethel McElroy, his grandparents Bill and Donna Kitscher, Martin and Sylva Hukill and all that arrived before him, he and “Grampy” headed to “the most heavenly of fishing holes”. His eternity will be spent with the folks that love him and he will most certainly be there to greet us as we arrive, with that huge smile and big bear hug!

Jeremy’s huge smile, Okie slang, Southern charm, and manners, made him an instant friend to all he met. He was humble and kind, loved kids, dogs and old folks, a friend for life. He was a Stone Mason by trade and his big rough hands were a testimony to his hard work.

He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He never met a stranger and had that “every man” character that endeared him to people from all walks of life. We know these things, as there has been an incredible outpouring of love and antidotes that have flooded into his loved one’s media accounts.

We are so very proud of who he was. He was an awesome athlete and team player. We shared memories from his T-Ball games, Soccer and all the way to High School State Baseball Championship, also making it to State in Wrestling, two years in a row.

He graduated from Yukon High School in 1997 going on to play Baseball at Pratt Junior College in Kansas. Jeremy was born October 4, 1978, in Altus Oklahoma to John and Margaret Hukill Kitscher. Left behind to miss him and tell his stories are his parents John and Shanna Kitscher, Margaret and Ed Johnson, his brother Kellen Smith and his beautiful son Gavin Kitscher and Gavin’s brother Brayden Carlton.

Others left behind include his many aunts, uncles and cousins including William N. Kitscher and the whole “Hukill Clan”-Tim, Suzie, Emma Lilly, Bubba, Kristie, James, Rhonda, Jake, Logan, Brittanie, Joe, Lisa, Madison, Cameron, Allison, Austin, Regina, Hobert, Danny, Tammi, Cayden, Elizabeth, Melissa, Susan, Sooner, Francis, Elizabeth, Skylar, Shelby, Claudine and Bruce. Lifelong friends include Anthony Smith, Ely Worsley, Shawn Kurena, Emily Gillerand, Mike Goodson, Matt Mach, and Nate Gomez. The family would also like to extend many thanks to Lisa Carlton and Shay Jefferson.

Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 11th at 11:00 am at the Yanda and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, Oklahoma. Memorial donations may be made to the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation, 297 S.W. 41st.
