Jerita Elaine Smith Dickens, 68, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018. Visitation will be Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with the service to follow at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel. Brian McCutchen and Mark Little will be officiating.

Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. She worked at Shoals Hospital Human Res for 50 years. Mrs. Dickens was preceded in death by her father, Umphrey Stanley Smith; mother, Lorene Matlock Smith; sister, Juanita Gail Waldrep.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Dickens of Muscle Shoals; daughter, Brenda (Randy) Fadorsen; brothers, Melvin (Peggy) Smith, Noland (Jackie) Smith, Elton Smith, Carl Smith, Aaron (Kim) Smith, Milton (Jennifer) Smith; sisters; Dianne (Jerry) Berryman and Pam (Greg) Smith; grandson, Tyler Fadorsen. Pallbearers will be Stan Smith, Brian Berryman, Michael Smith, Joseph Smith, Nick Smith, and Chandler Smith. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to East Colbert Church of Christ Childrens Youth Ministry.
