Obituary for Jerlean M. Covington Jearlean Marie Covington age 84, pased away Tuesday December 11, 2018. She was born to James Henry Taylor Sr. and Willie Van Ballard on November 27, 1934 in Yazoo City, MS. Ms. Covington retired from the Gary Community School System with many years of work.

She was a faithful member of Tabernacle MB Church of East, Chicago IN. Ms. Covington is preceded in death by both her parents, husband; Jesse Covington and one brother William Taylor. She leaves to cherish her memory special brother John “Johnny”(Yolanda) Taylor, brothers; James (Marva) Taylor, Kenneth (Lisa) Taylor, sisters; Shirley Taylor, Deborah Thomas and Valerie Taylor, special sister-in-law; Mildred Campbell, special nephew; Artie Taylor, special cousin; Iris Jean Jordan along with a host of neices, nephews, family and friends.
