He was a 4th Degree member and past officer of the Knights of Columbus #1848, served on the St. Louis Archdiocesan Pastoral Council, the governing board and as a member of Ste.
Genevieve Community Counseling, was a Ste. Genevieve Deanery Councilor, Ste. Genevieve Sheltered Workshop Charter Member and Officer, and a member of the Mid-American Lumberman Association.
