Jerome’s Obituary Jerome Paul LeBlanc, age 76, of Clovis, NM entered into the gates of Heaven on January 29, 2019 in Clovis. He was born on June 13, 1942 in Bell City, Louisiana to the home of Lenes and Agnes (LaCombe) LeBlanc. Jerome was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He was previously stationed at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, NM where he met and married his loving wife, Barbara Gayle Phillips, of 55 years. He was a loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman; a trait instilled in him by his grandfather and his Cajun heritage.

He loved his Dallas Cowboys, NASCAR and supported the NHRA. His personality was greater than life and he will be greatly missed. Jerome leaves behind his: wife, Barbara LeBlanc of the home; daughters, Deborah Ventura of Carrizozo, NM, Rebecca Roberts of Carlsbad, NM and Paula Williams of Spring, TX; sister, Lana LeBlanc of Mulhall, OK; 14 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceding his death are his parents, Lenes and Agnes LeBlanc and sister, Rebecca Robertson. Services in Clovis, NM will be on February 2, 2019 with a rosary recited at 10:30 AM and Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Services in Lake Charles, Louisiana will be held on February 5, 2019 with visitation from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM and a rosary to be recited at 1:30 PM at Johnson Funeral Home.

Graveside services will follow at 3:00 PM at Pinehill Cemetery in Iowa, Louisiana. Serving as pallbearers are Joshua Paul LeBlanc, Jace Eric LeBlanc, Mark Tyler LeBlanc, Jacob Daniel LeBlanc, Jared Hays Roberts, Caleb Jerome Ventura, Nathan Williams, and Austin Williams. Honorary bearers are Mathew Williams, John Cody Ventura, Joshua JP Ventura, Adrian LeBlanc, Noah LeBlanc, Josiah LeBlanc, Cash Wayne Williams, Jamyeson LeBlanc, AJ Ventura, Gabriel Ventura and Michael Ventura.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jerome’s honor to Disabled American Veterans.
