His wishes were to be cremated and memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at McCoy Chapel of Memories under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. Jerry was born June 7, 1960 in Post, TX to Clinton Scott and Georgia Oleta Hitchcock.

Jerry is survived by his sons James Scott Hitchcock and Jerry Lee Hitchcock both of New Mexico; mother Georgia Hitchcock of Sweetwater; brothers James Hitchcock of Anson, TX, Clint Hitchcock of Godley, TX, Billy Hitchcock of Sweetwater and Steve Alston of Anson, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, sisters Linda Barnett and Donna Covington.
