Jerry “Donny” Grissom, 75, of Tupelo, MS, formally of Muscle Shoals, AL died June 14, 2018. Visitation will be Monday, June 18, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. until noon at Colbert Memorial Chapel, Tuscumbia with the funeral service immediately following in the chapel. Delmer DuBoise will officiate the funeral service.

Interment will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. He was of Baptist faith and was a loving husband, father and LoLo to his beloved grandchildren. Preceding Mr. Grissom in death was his parents, Hollis and Annie Pearl Grissom.

He is survived by his wife of 56 wonderful years, Opal Grissom; son, Jerry Donald “Donny” Grissom, Jr. (Reylyn); daughters, Salena Lipscomb (Harry Guy “G”) and Whitney Ward (B.J.); sister, Betty Miloin; grandchildren, Morgan Copeland (Wade), Anne Hollis Lipscomb, Taylor Grissom, Harrison Lipscomb, Skyler Grissom, and Mark Grissom; and great-grandchild, Mae Parker Copeland. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends of Mr. Grissom. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Colbert County Animal Shelter, 5010 Missouri Street, Tuscumbia, AL 35674.
