OBITUARY Jerry L Hill December 3, 1936 – January 8, 2019 Jerry Lamar Hill, 82, of Casselberry, Florida passed away on January 8, 2019, at Florida Hospital Altamonte. He had been battling Lung Cancer since August 2018. A visitation will be held on January 9, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home (994 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701).

Jerry was born in Gastonia, North Carolina, on December 3, 1936, to parents David Hill and Grace Michaels Hill. He joined the Navy in 1955 and served 20 years before ultimately settling in Casselberry, Florida in August 1970. After the Navy, he began working at McDonalds in 1974 and retired as management in 1990.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is predeceased by his daughter, Sonya Verner and in-laws, J.B. and Aline Shuford. Jerry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Brenda Hill; son, Jay Hill, Sanford, FL; sister-in-law, Trudy Shuford, Gastonia, NC; son-in-law, Jon Verner, Des Moines, Iowa; granddaughter, Alanna Verner, Des Moines, Iowa; grandson, Patrick Hill, Sanford, FL, and many other beloved family and friends.
