OBITUARY Jerry Lee Skinner September 13, 1953 – November 14, 2018 Jerry, 65, of KC, MO passed away Wed. Nov. 14, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.

Jerry was born Sept. 13, 1953 to Rollie and Aline Skinner in KC, MO. He attended Northeast HS.

Jerry worked 27 years with Valspar Paint retiring in 2013. He was a lifelong Local 41 Teamster Member. After retirement, Jerry was Vice President of the Teamsters Retirees Club as well as volunteering with North Oak Christian Church.

Jerry loved to garden, woodwork, and enjoyed being with family and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Rollie, Jr. and Roy Skinner; brother-in-law, John Canada. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Janell; 2 sons; Jerry (Trisha) Skinner and Rollie (Lindsey) Skinner; 2 daughters, Carrie (Robert) Bluett and Elsa Skinner; 8 grandchildren; sisters, Joanie (Bob) Lusby and Judy Canada; sister-in-laws, Stella Skinner and Frances Skinner Celebration of Life will be 1 PM Sat.

Nov. 17, 2018 at White Chapel Funeral Home with a visitation from 11-1 PM Sat just prior to the service. Burial in White Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or North Oak Christian Church.
