Jerry Siler Kitts, age 69 of LaFollette was reunited with his wife and the love of his life, Peggy Jean Kitts on Monday, September 17, 2018. He enjoyed playing his drums, sitting out by the pool, playing golf, riding his Harley, and working in the back yard. Jerry loved to spend time with his family.
He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends at the Back-Door Café. Jerry was an Army Vietnam Veteran. He is preceded in death by wife Peggy Jean Kitts; parents Michael and Chrysteen (Lyons) Kitts; brother Mike Kitts.
He is survived by daughter Shauna King & husband Eddie of Knoxville; granddaughter Saylor Jean King of Knoxville; sisters Rosalind Sharp & husband David of Knoxville, Judith Ann Dobson & husband Joe Carl of Corbin, KY, Theresa Marie Batrum & husband William of California; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 5 – 7 PM Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7 PM with Bob Denne to be presiding. Friends and family will meet 12:15 PM Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in procession to Campbell Memorial Gardens for the 1 PM interment.
