OBITUARY Jesse John Wood October 22, 1926 – November 25, 2018 Jesse John Wood, age 92, of North Little Rock, passed away November 25, 2018. He was born October 22, 1926, in Pulaski County, to Robert Bruce and Maggie Myrtle Wood. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Beverly Bursk, and by eight siblings.

Jesse was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. He worked as a salesman for N.O. Nelson (now Winnelson) and retired as a manager. He was a lifetime member of Calvary Baptist Church in North Little Rock.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Margie Wood; daughter, Sandra (Billy) Scott; two grandsons, Eric (Jessica) Bursk and Matt (Carrie) Scott; one granddaughter, Jessica (Rusty) Meeks; and by four great-grandchildren, Avery Bursk, Sawyer Scott, Abigail Meeks and Wesley Scott. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 28, at 1:00 p.m. with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, Bro. Paul McClung officiating.
