Jesse L. Mullenax, 81, of Arnold passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. He was born February 6, 1937, in Zelienople to the late James and Velma Lambert Mullenax. Jesse served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Lewis Hancock from 1954 to 1958 and then served as a Pennsylvania state policeman from 1958 to 1962.

He attended Robert Morris University and graduated in 1967 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He then worked in the insurance industry until his retirement in 1999. Mr. Mullenax enjoyed ice fishing, cooking, dining out, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his son, Robert J. (Renea) Mullenax; daughter, Susan A. Mullenax; grandchildren Michael and Megan Mullenax; and sister, Joann (Delton) Mullenax Neal. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary M. Sabados Mullenax in 2003; and his sister Elizabeth Mullenax Gallagher. Viewing will be Friday, Dec.

21 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD. , 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 22 at 10 AM with Rev.

Dean Ward, presiding. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell with Military Honors.
