Jesse Newton Roark, age 83, a lifelong resident of Birchwood, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the family residence. Mr. Roark was the son of the late Pauline Pendergrass Roark and Carl Roark. His son in law, Timothy Musgrove and his brothers, Dale and Sidney Roark also preceded him in death.

Mr. Roark worked in Construction for 30 years but was also known as a saw miller for many years. He loved the outdoors and was a well-known Coon Hunter. He was known for being very friendly and could talk to anyone.

Mr. Roark was a member of the Birchwood Baptist Church where he served as an usher and would help with anything that needed to be done. Survivors include his wife, Barbara “Ginger” Roark of Birchwood, his daughters, Alice Jaylene Morgan and her husband Franklin of Cleveland, Jill Musgrove of Birchwood, his granddaughter, Karrie Morgan his great granddaughter, Landi Sams, his sisters, Ann Rawlston and her husband Ed, Carole Randolph and her husband Bob all of Birchwood, his brother, Roger Roark and his wife Lorene of Georgetown and several nieces, nephews and friends also survive. The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 2:00 P. M. at the Birchwood Baptist Church with Reverend David Delmonte and Reverend Bob Shaffer officiating.

Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 P. M. Tuesday at the Birchwood Baptist Church. The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
