She was born in Yadkin County on March 24, 1977 to Ronald Eugene Talley and Patricia Coffey Hurst. She was preceded in death by her fraternal grandparents, Grady and Nellie Talley and her maternal grandfather Howard Coffey.

Jessica had compassion for all furry animals and enjoyed good music, food, and company. She is survived by her sisters Carrie Talley, Erica Talley, Kimberley Bokoven, Jennifer Priest, Rebecca Hurst, Rachel Hurst, Amy Hurst, Elisabeth Hurst, and brothers Brad Hunt and Greg Hurst. A celebration of gathering of friends will be on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville (5108 US 601 Hwy, Yadkinville, NC).
