Obituary for Jessie Bell Conwill Jessie Bell Conwill, 97, died on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Riverplace Nursing Center in Amory. Born on May 30, 1921, she was a daughter to Jesse Daniel and Johnny Lee Farr Conwill. She grew up and lived in the Carolina Community until moving to Amory.

Although she had none of her own, she helped raise many children and was very devoted to helping others. Mrs. Conwill was a member of the Carolina United Methodist Church where she was very active. She also took an active part of the Carolina Community Center and RCDC.

Prior to her retirement, she worked for Amory Garment Company and was known as a master seamstress while also enjoying quilting. Mrs. Conwill’s family was important to her having grown up with her first cousin, Elmer Clay Conwill, having loved him like her brother and remained active with his family. Memorial services for Mrs. Conwill will be at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Rev.

Wesley Pepper and Rev. Danny Wilburn officiating. Interment will be in the Carolina Cemetery.

Survivors include her cousins, Jim Conwill, Diane Nations, Kitty Ray, Bob Conwill, Richard Conwill, Patty Phipps, Janie Jones, Mary Tate, Peter Conwill, Thomas Conwill, Ray Conwill, and Johnny Conwill.
