Jessie Lee Floyd Epps, 60, of Gaylesville, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019. He was born April 19, 1959 to the late Billy Eugene Epps, Sr. and Louise Vaughn Epps. Mr. Epps enjoyed fishing and working on vehicles.

He loved his grandkids and his nieces and nephews whom he thought of as grandkids. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Seth Stone and Pastor Scott Blizzard officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Phoebe Jackson Epps; son, Ray Jackson (Chasity); chosen daughter, Angel Whitt; brothers, Dale Epps (Helen) and Billy Epps, Jr.; sister, Beatrice McBrayer; grandchildren, Audrie, Thomas, Elizabeth, and Joey McBrayer; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Melinda Jackson; sisters, Barbara Tallent, Rachel Richardson, Rebecca Black, and Peggy Bentley; and brothers, W.H. Epps, Richard Epps, Sr., Randy Epps, and Daniel “Buddy” Epps. Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
